Central Asian Sub-regional Preparatory Conference for the 7th World Water Forum

The Central Asian Sub-regional Preparatory Conference for the 7th World Water Forum was held 8-9July 2014 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
The Conference was organized by the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan jointly with the Secretariat of ICWC, GWP Central Asia and Caucasus and other international and regional organizations within the framework of the preparatory process for the 7th World Water Forum.
The Conference is aimed to identify and discuss the main aspects of regional processes in water sector and key topics that will be presented for dialogue during the events of the World Water Forum.
The main objective of the conference was to formulate and harmonize the sub-regional agenda for the 7th World Water Forum.
The participants of the Conference, representing governments, international and regional organizations, various UN agencies, financial institutions, civil society and other stakeholders of the Central Asian sub-region, including the countries of Central Asia, Caucasus and Mongolia, adopted the Resolution.
