Summary |
Study
is directed to assessment of vertical drainage operation
regime, crop irrigation ragime, irrigation water quality
on large irrigation massif (Pahtaaral rayon) Climate
is sharply continental. Relief is flat. Ground water
table is 2.2-2.5 m (growing period), 3.0-3.5m (fall),
water salinity is 1.0-5.0 g/l. Soil-sandy loam, loam
(light, medium and heavy), saline. Water supply is executed
from Kirov canal; inter-farm canal efficiency
is 0.9-0.95, in-farm canal 0.75-0.8. 280 vertical wells
have been constructed. Open horizontal drains (depth
2.5m) disposes pumped water. Recommendations are
developed for reclamation regime improvement. |
