Summary |
Studies
are dedicated to soil salinity control and irrigated
lands productivity increase by intensifying area drainability
and salt removal from soils by ground water pumping
on optimal regimes of their selection providing optimal
soil water-salt regimes management under leaching irrigation
regime during year. Relief is slightly undulated. Climate
is continental. Ground water depth is 1-3 m, salinity
3-10 g/1 on north-west of massif, to 40 g/1 and more
in its south part, sulfate-chloride and chloride-sulfate
type. Soils are sandy loam, light and semi-loam, strongly
saline. Irrigated area is 5350 ha (net), in command
zone of Kirov main canal. On this plot 18 vertical drainage
wells were constructed on depth 55-75 m. Stationary
balance plots were established on area 100-250 ha provided
with measurement equipment. In result of studies it
was established in EPP conditions active water exchange
zone under vertical drainage systems impact is expanded
to depth 100 m, and salt exchange - on al top melkozem
thickness (to 35-40 m). Set of water-reclamation measures
was developed on increasing irrigated lands productivity
and irrigation water effficiency, water saving as well
as farms profitability. |

drainage" M., Kolos, 1978 In monograph principles
of irrigated areas classification according to reclamation
complexity, option of perfect drainage types, main requirements
to initial data reception for designing desalinizating
measures and water-salt processes regularities on background
of vertical drainage are given. System analysis of field
study results of soil desalinization process and water
use improvement under leaching and leaching irrigation
regime achieved in experimental-pilot projects and large
irrigated massifs were carried out. Basic principles
of forming vertical drainage systems pumping regime
including ground water use for irrigation allowing creation
of optimal reclamation regimes on irrigated lands. |
