Summary

Study is directed to drainage parameters optimization, set of measures development on ground water table lowering and soil salination prevention by means of subsurface drainage construction, drainage design and workability improvement. Plot is located between Vaksh and Kafirnigan rivers. Climate is continental, dry. Relief-weakly sloped plain. Soils-loam, saline. Ground water depth is 1.0- 1.5m and salinity is 4-5g/l (February), 1-1.5 g/l (summer), sulfate-calcium-sodium. Irrigated area is 70 ha. Irrigation network is earthen, specific extent 35-36 m/ha, efficiency is 0.58-0.72. Subsurface drainage specific extent is 84 m/ha, depth 1.8-3.5 m. In  result of research conclusion  is  made:  system which  is perpendicular to ground water flow is the most effective. Most effective is the scheme on lands with high slope gradient (more than 0.01). In this case drain extent is reduced on 25% Due to drain spacing 170-200m.
