Summary

Study is directed to in-soil irrigation system design improvement, irrigation automation introduction and operational cost reduction Climate is sharply continental. Soils-light sierozems, loess loam. Ground water depth is 3-5m, strongly saline (10-20g/l). Plot size is 120ha. As moistening means perforated polyethylene tubes with diameter 20, 16 and 12.5mm were used. Their depth is 0.45m. Recommendations are developed on in-soil systemsdesign, construction and operation.
