Summary

Research  is devoted to  soil  reclamation regime management through ground water pumping in combination with leaching irrigation regime. Relief is hilly; climate-continental. Soils: sandy loam, light and medium loam, saline , salinity type is sulfate and chloride-sulfate. Total irrigated area is 174h.ha, vertical drainage area-15.7th.ha (command area of Kirov canal). Open drainage specific length is 8-15 m/ha. There are 1794 vertical wells with depth of 15-50m. Plot is equipped by means of water and salt account. In   result   of research   set   of  measures   on   irrigation   water productivity   and   agricultural    lands   increase   is   developed. Recommended trend of reclamation processes facilitated cotton yield increase up to 2.8-3.2 t/ha against 1.5-2.0 t/ha initial yield. Along with land productivity increase specific water expense per unit production has been reduced (1800-2000cu.m/t against 4000-5000cu.m/t).

Key words

Bibliography

Authors: N.M.Reshetkina, H.I.Yakubov Title: ''Vertical drainage", Moscow, 1978 Principles of irrigated lands zoning and main requirements to initial data are developed. System analysis of field research of soil desalinization and water use improvement under leaching and leaching regime of irrigation is done. Main principles of of vertical drainage operation using ground water for irrigation providing optimal reclamation regime are found.
