Summary

Study is devoted to development of set of measures on water use improvement   and   combat   soil   salinization   based   on   land drainability increase and leaching through open and subsurface drainage; to reveal reclamation efficiency and workability of this type of drainage  in multi-layer soils,  soil water-salt regime management. Farm locates in salt accumulation zone. Relief is smooth. Soils are from  strongly to   slightly  saline  chloride-sulfate  and  sulfate-chloride type. Ground water table is 1.3-1.5 m (spring) and 1.8-2.5 m (autumn). Total area is 145ha. Subsurface drainage length is 1774 m, open drainage-3510 m. Drain depth is 2m, spacing-206-230m. Irrigation network is earthen; irrigation technique-flooding. As result of research set of measures providing irrigated lands and irrigation water productivity as well as farm profitability increase is developed. Due to two-fold regulation of ground water table and water-salt regime water was saved in amount of 5500-7900cu.m/ha or on average 24.24% per hectare.
