About the Partner
The Scientific-Information Center of the Interstate Commission for Sustainable Development supports collection, processing, and generalization of environmental and socio-economic information in the Aral Sea basin.
Its work includes development of common information bases, support for research and cooperation, dissemination of scientific and technological advances, and methodological foundations for environmental and economic assessments.
The center also contributes to regional principles, indicators, and criteria related to environmental management and sustainable development.
Supports the development of the Platform and implementation of its research program, particularly on regional environmental conservation in Central Asia.
