“HOBAS-TAPO” Joint Venture

logo "HOBAS-TAPO" plant started its activity in 2000 year. The enterprise is one of widely known "HOBAS ROHRE GmbH" plants (Germany - Switzerland - Austria) specialized on production of universal nonmetal fiber glass pipeline systems in Uzbekistan.

Pipes of HOBAS technology are made from filler: quartz sand, carbonate of calcium (70 %) binding material of non-saturated polyester pitches (20 %), also winding and cutting fiber glasses (10 %) playing role of armature, i.e. minerals which are not exposed neither to temperature differences, no influence of excited environments as inside pipes, and outside. Manufacture method is - centrifugal.

The plant produces pipes of standard length 0.6 m (± 0,2), diameter from D 200 up to 2400 mm. Connection of pipes is carried out with the help of elastic coupling FWC. Additional charges is not required for the electric power at installation, and also charges on a covering by additional protective anticorrosive and waterproofing materials. Each pipe is produced in complex with one coupling.

We specialized not only on production of pipes, but and on installation accessories. The plant produces not only standard (a joint pipe, a tee, tap, cross-pipe, an adapter with installation accessories), and not standard (well, mine, tank, water tower) installation, accessories. The pipe can be used as a housing or shoe.

It was tested in laboratory of Hydraulics and Hydrology Darmstadt (Germany) Institute on abrasive using up that pipes are steel, cast-iron pipes are worn out up to 9 mm, and pipes of HOBAS technology up to 1 mm under identical test conditions.

The pipe is steady against a frost and high temperatures (dural-plastically method). Official reports on test of the pipes which have been carried out at various universities, confirm an opportunity of use of these pipes at temperature modes from -50 up to + 60 oC. Laboratory researches at temperatures from –60 up to +70 oC have shown also positive results.

High resistance against using up is very low (or absolutely absent), a degree of adjournment and subsidence of mud particles (due to a smooth internal surface - the roughness of walls is lower, than 0.01 cm) promotes reduction of originally planned diameters of pipes that conducts in turn to reduction of charges. High stability to ultraviolet radiation means absence of problems at an elevated lining.

Pipes have high static resistance. The chemical resistance is very good.

Standard pipes have nominal rigidity SN 10.000 H/m2. It allows to lay on pipes in mixed ground on depth 4m at transport loading above 60tn. Also there is an opportunity to produce pipes of special rigidity SN 500.000 H/m2.

Allowable working pressure is up to 25 atm (PN 25). According to DIN norms the pipe maintains short-term 4 multiple loadings from working pressure, i. e. up to 100 atm.

There is an opportunity of pipes erection under houses and roads.

Service life of "HOBAS" pipes is established by calculation on long-term loading and operation on limiting deformations, in view of factor of durability after 50 years a minimum 1,8 that allows further use of HOBAS pipes and products.

Practice has shown that the stacked pipes in Munich in 1964 and Switzerland in 1961 now have no deformations and are in an excellent condition.

The connection with elastic couplings FWC is completely tight, full water resistance is guaranteed. Coupling connection allows creating corners in units of connection up to 3o. The lining of pipes in collapsing soil is recommended SNiP 2.04.-84 items 8, 21, 15, 104, 15, 110.

At hydro impacts on water conduit lines, Hobas pipes have 4 multiple safety factor concerning working pressure that allows operation with short-term increase of pressure.

Replacement of sections at failures or connections to HOBAS pipelines are carried out by various methods:

  • lamination of a damage sate;
  • replacement by a new site with coupling and-or Hobas installation accessories.

Weight of pipes much less steel and pig-iron, that provides more high efficiency at installation, and also at loading - discharging. Pipes are completed with a method “a pipe in a pipe” by delivery of pipes of various diameters.

Sphere of application:

  • gravity-flowing system (economic, industrial water drain);
  • water pipe line;
  • drinking and economic water supply;
  • re-lining (a method of dragging of a pipe in an existing highway, a method of a puncture);
  • the main pipelines;
  • hydraulic fill pipeline;
  • collector networks;
  • waste water-pump stations;
  • drainage systems;
  • bridge pipelines;
  • use of pipes as shoe, mines, wells, water towers, etc.

"HOBAS-TAPO" pipes are a non-polluting product, i.e. there is no harmful influence on an environment. Our production has the certificate of conformity, the hygienic certificate and the international certificate of system of a quality management of standard ISO 9001:2000, and also meet to requirements of Technical Agreement DIN 19565 (a part 1), DIM (part 1 and 2) pipes (UP-GF) or to similar standards for pipes from a polyether amplified with fiber glass, made by centrifugal molding method.
