BISHKEK TO HOST THE FIFTH INTERNATIONAL CENTRAL ASIAN CONFERENCE ON EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
The fifth international Central Asian conference on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) will be held in Bishkek on October 24-25. The international conference will be held at the support of EcoEducation program of the regional ecological center of Central Asia, state agency on environmental protection and forestry in cooperation and financial support of the Kyrgyz Government’s partners as UNESCO and others.
Deputy director of the state agency on environmental protection and forestry under the Kyrgyz Government Aitkul Burhanov told at the press conference at the Kabar Agency.
The objective of the conference is strengthening of interstate and inter-sector cooperation in the sphere of education for sustainable development, coordination and integration of national programs with regional and global initiatives.
Representatives of the ecology and education ministries of Central Asian countries, UNESCO national commissions, experts in the sphere of education for sustainable development, teachers of Universities and schools will take part in the conference.
