IMPROVEMENT OF LIVING STANDARDS IN KAZAKHSTAN POSITIVE FOR CENTRAL ASIA: MEETING IN DUSHANBE

The Kazakh Embassy in Dushanbe together with the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of Tajikistan held workshop “Central Asia: Path to Europe” Wednesday, Kazinform refers to the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
Public and political figures, experts, representatives of the university science and academic society, heads of foreign diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan took part in the workshop.
Kazakh Ambassador Abutalip Akhmetov informed the participants of “Path to Europe” state program. The Kazakh diplomat briefed the guests on the modern achievements of our country in the field of socio-political construction, democracy development and Kazakhstani prospects within the OSCE chairmanship in 2010.
The participants noted that Kazakhstan actively integrates into the world community. Improvement of the life level and quality in our country has a positive effect on the whole region of Central Asia. The foreign diplomats stressed that Kazakhstan looks for new ways of interconfessional dialogue, contributes to provision of the regional security, and advances in the society democratization successfully. Its coming OSCE chairmanship will allow to attract attention of the western countries to the Central Asian region.
